Gate.io Crypto Loan Supports Using Simple Earn Funds as Collateral

Dear Gate.io users, we are excited to announce an update to Gate.io Crypto Loan. Now users can use Gate.io Simple Earn funds as collateral for borrowing. This allows users to earn interest on Simple Earn while also using them as crypto loan collateral.

Enable Simple Earn Funds Serve as Crypto Loan Collateral: (1) To enable this feature, users need to click [Simple Earn Funds Serve as Crypto Loan Collateral] on the Crypto Loan page. (2) Once enabled, Simple Earn funds will be used first as collateral when you borrow funds from Crypto Loan. If Simple Earn funds are insufficient, the system will subscribe to Simple Earn using spot balance or Unified Account balance, and then collateralize the Simple Earn subscription. (3) Funds automatically subscribed to Simple Earn will be used as Crypto Loan collateral, while also accruing the standard Simple Earn interest. This interest will be distributed to your Simple Earn account, but will not serve as Crypto Loan collateral. Please note: To reduce risks and protect your funds, Simple Earn funds can only serve as collateral for one type of product, either Unified Account or Crypto Loan. Therefore, when users enable the 'Simple Earn Funds Serve as Crypto Loan Collateral', they won't be able to enable the 'Simple Earn Funds Serve as Unified Account Margin' simultaneously.
