Gate.io, a leading cryptocurrency exchange and blockchain innovator, recently launched the first leg of Crypto Expedition 2024 in Turkey alongside blockchain expert Nurullah Dundar. This nationwide tour aims to showcase the transformative potential of blockchain technology in Turkey and globally, highlighting its impact on local cultures and economies while exploring Turkey's crypto potential.

The tour commenced in Mardin, strategically nestled on a hill near the Tigris River. Starting on June 28th and continuing through December, the expedition will visit a different city each month for a total of six stops. The Mardin visit was highly successful, featuring engaging discussions led by Nurullah Dundar, a renowned lecturer at Medipol University, on blockchain basics and its future potential impact. The conference attracted more than 20 attendees, from Web3 professionals, enthusiasts and students.

Gate.io engaged with the local community through street interviews in Mardin, exploring both local culture and awareness of cryptocurrency. These interviews underscored blockchain's capacity to enhance transparency, security, and financial transactions, showcasing innovative developments in the finance sector. This initiative helped Gate.io foster connections within the local Mardin community, establishing itself as a trusted leader in blockchain technology and a reliable exchange in Turkey.

In addition to interviews, Gate.io organized a city-wide scavenger hunt, hiding keys with clues shared on social media. This interactive game not only educated and inspired Turkish crypto enthusiasts but also provided entertaining opportunities to win prizes.
